Hi everyone,
Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! Just wanted to do another quick post and this time it's a Father's Day card. I made this for my fiance's dad, who is a sweetheart of a man :0) I really hope he likes it as much as me and my fiance do. I really loved the way it turned out for so simple and quick it was to make. Sometimes I can spend an hour or more on a card and still not be happy with it and I have to go back to the drawing board..go figure..lol?! This card took me 20 minutes and probably half of that time was trying to figure out what papers I wanted to use. I picked out my pattern paper first and then went with those colors for the rest of my card. I am pretty much addicted to my Gypsy and so I use it for all my projects including this one. Here are the specifics:
Carts used:
- Elegant Edges (card base @ 5.50" welded 2 shadow shapes; olive green mat @ 5.25" hid the butterfly on it..gypsy to the rescue! and pattern paper mat @ 5.0" again hid the butterfly)
- Celebrate with Flourish : #1 Dad and all layers @ 3.50"
- Solid cardstock: Bazzill Papers (Dk. Blue-"Handsome") & (Green-"Mint Chip") and Recollections (Craft & Lt. Blue)
- Patterned Paper: My Stash
- Hemp Cord
- Button: My Stash
- White Gel Pen
- Pop Dots
That's it, super easy and quick to put together :0)
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
Hugs,
Diana
