Baby Shower Card - It's a boy!


Hi everyone,

Just a quick post on a card I made for a co-worker’s baby shower that I will be attending this weekend. Ever since I got the Create a Critter Cartridge I have wanted to use this cute little turtle for a project. So, I decided to go with that image since she is having a baby boy. I really do love the Create a Critter cartridge, there are so many wonderful cuts to use. I decided to use blues and browns for my color palette based on the patterned paper that I wanted to use. The card size is a 5 x 5 and here are the specifics of this super simple card.


Carts used: Create a Critter (Turtle w/layers) and New Arrival (It’s a boy sentiment)
Solid Paper: Recollections
Pattern Paper: DCWV Baby Boy Stack
Xyron Machine
Martha Stewart Glitter: Lapis
Ribbon: Michael’s
White Gel Pen
