Cricut 360 - Challenge #3 - For Parents

Happy Friday Everyone! Are you all ready for another great challenge at Cricut 360 this week? Thanks so much for stopping by last week at Cricut 360 and playing along, we hope you had fun. Parents Day is July 24th so this week's challenge is to make a card, a layout or something crafty for them or as a tribute to them and you can use ANY cartridge.

  

I chose to make a layout as a tribute to them as they have both passed.  I have been wanting to catch up on my scrapbooking and thought this challenge would help do that.  I kept my layout & the colors kind of simple because I really wanted the photo to be the main focal point. Here are the items I used:

• Carts used: Elegant Edges (Mats & Tag), Straight from the Nest (Scrolled Heart & Flourishes), and Sweethearts (Love)
• Solid Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper - "Rocky Road" (Embossed) & French Vanilla and Recollections "Gold"
• Patterned Paper: We R Memory Keepers "Grandma's Kitchen"
• Ribbon: Michael's (Christmas Ribbon)
• Tim Holtz Distress Ink - "Tea Dye"
• Sentiment - Computer Generated
• Prima Flowers - Tea Roses Snow
