Cozy Little Christmas

Hello Crafty Friends,

Hope you are all having a wonderful week so far!  I wanted to share with all of you a card I finished up last night.  I was not able to post till today because of the lighting.  I wanted to get a good picture with natural light and I was able to capture it this morning before I headed off to work :0)

So for my card today I tried out a new technique, paper piecing.  I have to say I just LOVE IT!!  I had never tried this before but I have seen so many awesome cards using this technique. I knew I had to try it out and I am so glad I did!!  Also, I tried out my new Copic Markers which I picked up at the Scrapbook Expo back in September.  While I could use some more practice, I think it came out pretty good for my first try ;0)  Here are all the details of my card.

Cartridge Used
Elegant Edges - Scalloped Circle w/shadow

Other Items Used
Solid Cardstock - Recollections
Patterned Paper - My Mind's Eye "Merry"
Memento Ink - Black Tuxedo
Peachy Keen Stamp - "407 Ginger Baby Oven Mitt"
Scrappy Mom's Stamps - "A Holiday to Remember"
Copic Markers - RV13, R20, B00, E31, & E35
Gem Adhesives - Recollections
White Gel Pen

I will be entering this card over at the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog.  Their challenge this week is "Anything Goes"

Well, I hope you all have enjoyed my card today.

Crafty Hugs,
Diana
