Good morning and Happy Monday everyone!! It's Monday again and you know what that means, time for another fun challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut!!!
This week our theme is "Kiss the Cook" you need to use a recipe somewhere on your
project. Don't forget that it also must have a Cricut cut somewhere on your project ;0)
For my project I decided to go with a very simple shaped card. Most of projects lately have been just that, very simple. I recently moved (late last month) and I still haven't unpacked all my crafting supplies. I am also very behind on visiting blogs and leaving comments to all of my sweet bloggy friends...so please bear with me :0) I hope to be back on track very soon!! Here are all the details of my super simple card. This card would be perfect for a Bridal Shower.
Cartridge Used
From my Kitchen
Other Items used
Solid Cardstock - Recollections
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Tea Dye
Stickles - Star Dust
White Gel Pen
Recipe - Computer Generated
Again, super simple project with just a handful of supplies needed. Okay, so now it's your turn to show us what you come up with! Stop on by FCCB this week and join us for the fun. Thanks again for stopping by today!!

Happy New Years Eve :0) Today over at Fantabulous Cricut we are having a "Get Organized" blog hop!! It's the perfect time to try and organize our hectic lives as we begin a brand new year!! So, I decided to alter a little composition notebook for me to write my lists and general notes that I may need. This way they're all together in in one place, and easy to find when I need them!
I am so happy the way this little notebook turned out and it really wasn't all that time consuming either...which I love!! Here are all the details of my altered project :0)

Place butter in a large microwave safe bowl. Microwave until
melted, about 1 minute.
Add both sugars to melted butter and stir until combined.
Add salt, vanilla, and eggs, stirring until smooth. Stir in flour, baking soda,
and baking powder until just combined and a soft dough forms. Fold in chocolate
and pecans.
Scoop dough in desired cookie size onto lined baking sheets.
Refrigerate until firm, about 30-45 minutes, depending on the size of the
cookies. Leave room between cookies for some spreading.
Preheat oven to 350°. Bake cookies until golden around the
edges but a little soft in the center. Baking time will vary depending on the
size of the cookies. Smaller cookies (2-inch diameter) bake for 13-15 minutes.
Larger cookies may require up to 18 minutes.
Cool on baking sheets on wire racks for a few minutes. Then,
transfer from baking sheets to wire racks to cool completely.
Makes about 48 2-inch cookies.
